Vinyl: Heave leatherette, bonded to a soft fleecy backing. A thick, furniture-grade quality vinyl that can be dusted easily wiped with a damp cloth or vacuumed.

Mackintosh: Woven, non-cotton material bonded to a soft lining. An attractive and popular fabric with a softer, warmer look compared to vinyl. Exceptionally tough and durable. Well-suited for use in schools, churches, theaters, and studios. Mackintosh is thicker than vinyl and offers more protection from bumps and scratches.
